Carbon Fibre 3K Sheet 500mm x 500mm x 1.5mm

Product Description

Whether youre making your own drone frames, car chassis, firewalls, bulkheads or any other custom designs that require high strength, lightweight material, these quality carbon fiber sheets are more than up to the task. Aerospace and space were some of the first industries to adopt carbon fiber. The high modulus of carbon fiber makes it suitable structurally to replace alloys such as aluminum and titanium.

These high-quality carbon fiber 3K sheets come in various sizes, made from 100%, 3K plain weave, carbon fiber and finished with a matt surface on both sides. Unlike many low-cost carbon sheets that are made by pressing two outer skins of carbon fiber over a carbon and resin core, these plates are made with layered sheets of carbon fiber and resin, making them the same strength all the way through.

3K Carbon Fiber:

3K is the workhorse of carbon fiber. Its light, relatively stiff and easy to get and make. 3K got higher elongation before failure and ultimate strength than 6K, 9K or 12K. 3Kmeansthere are 3000 filaments per tow
